·Hello Omega Forum.
For sale is this manual wind Omega Seamaster Cosmic, circa 1969.
Dial: Radial brushed silver sunburst dial in excellent condition with grey minute track.
No lume dot at 11. Faceted hour indices are black on the inner edge, and polished
on the outer edge. The polished sides and the sunburst dial really make the dial come alive in the light!
Bracelet: Omega 1068 BOR with 529 endlinks. Currently sized for 185mm wrist with 0 micro-adjusts left.
Includes 3 spare links, each about 5.6mm. I'll also include a 19mm black Geckota leather strap that's almost unworn.
Case: 136.017 C-shape, stainless steel. Some of the original brushing remains, along with some light scratches. Edges still fairly sharp, I didn't polish it at all. 35.5mm w/o crown, 38mm lug to lug. 70 grams with bracelet.
Crystal: Omega signed, with date magnifier "cyclops." Crystal is in excellent condition save for a nick
on the side around the 3:30 outside edge, probably from a previous case opening attempt. The nick isn't noticeable on the wrist.
Crown: New, Omega signed.
Purchased in 2020 from Kabaclyde. Watch ran ok, but the 613 movement was somewhat loose in the case so I had that addressed, along with a service while it was opened, plus a new Omega crown. Sets and runs well, date change and quickset date work correctly. I'll provide the service invoice prior to purchase.
I've only completed a couple minor sales on OF, no watch sales yet, though I've made some purchases from members in my 2+ years here. I also have 100% sales feedback on Ebay under the same username, and have been a member there since 2002. Let me know if you need other references, or have any questions.
I'm not a dealer, just a watch enthusiast, so no returns unless the condition is grossly misrepresented somehow.
Asking: $650 USD on Paypal with Priority Mail shipping/insurance included. CONUS only.
Thanks OF for the space!
