Omega Seamaster Chronostop

Hi All,

It's been years since I've bought a watch, as frankly there's no money for that sort of thing these days.

Whilst digging through my collection I've found this, which I've had for about 15 years at a guess. I can't even remember where I got it.

I did a bit of research and they mostly seem to be Geneve's with a crown at 4, which this one doesn't have. The crystal is original and signed, but badly crazed. Band is not original. This one's outside of my core collection, I tend to focus on 50's Seamaster bumpers. I suspect I bought this in Japan.

Can anyone tell me a bit about this watch? What would be the correct crystal and strap if I wanted to get it serviced and preserve its authenticity? I guess what it's worth would be interesting too, as I'm wondering if I should hang onto it.

Thank you,

sorry to be of no help whatsoever but that’s a fantastic looking watch-any ideas on its value?
