Hello guys,
I posted this morning a message in a pre-Seamaster thread about a Seamaster Calendar (https://omegaforums.net/threads/looking-for-info-on-this-pre-seamaster.142616/)

well I went to see the watch and when I open the case back, it’s not the number I was hoping to read (249404 22) nor can I find anything anywhere on it.

so you’re my last hope.

it’s a Seamaster Calendar in rose gold with the case number 249507 20 and cal number 503.
The ref on the movement is 15388100. Is it legit ?

thanks a lot.

Can't help much except to say that if I bought it. It would be for gold weight only

Movement is in average condition. Rotor can be replaced

Crown will be next to impossible to find in rose gold filled/capped. Not made since the 60's. Could have a generic one plated or PVD'd, but still won't be a match color wise.

It is a Swiss movement and a French made case. Dates from mid-1950’s.

All original, but needs some serious service.

I agree, this one is going to be complicated.

Not unless someone has access to the records of the French company who made that case.

99.9% chance those records were destroyed.
