Hello, i am relatively new to the watch community, and i recently acquired an Omega Seamaster Automatic with a caliber 562 movement, but i don't know the reference number i need help to authenticate the watch because i searched google pictures and even the omega website and there is no picture whatsoever of this particular watch, the person i acquired the watch said that it is all original, but i am not sure about it.. maybe the hands are swapped? the watch face seems to develop a genuine and great patina, but not sure about the case or the hands.. here are some pictures of the watch thankyou for looking and even commenting.
i can only read 166003, and found this, a bit different, i can't tell the reference because i can't open the caseback yet
Is that crown correct? It looks a bit too big for a sunken crown. The 166003 came with hidden crowns right? Tiny detail by the way...
Every single reference had a number of different dial variations, most of which are not documented. OmegaDB, for example, only shows one watch per reference, if any. Your watch looks correct.
Looks good to me. New band obviously. The movements had some part changes at some point by the look of it. As has already been said, the Omega site doesn't list every possible variation.
i think the difference is the smoother hands? because it seems in the other picture it has a black stripe, btw thankyou guys for commenting, really means a lot
