14M Serial dates the movement to 1954 - 1955. Dial seems like it's been through it's paces, but I love seeing a distressed dial that still holds that honest vintage look. I think it's right on the line condition wise, case seems untouched, and lugs seem fine. Still not sure on how to verify crowns, but I'm sure I'll dig up a thread sooner or later.

Thank you for the help with assessing this piece!

    Best,

    Thomas

The hands look off to me and if that's lume on the dial it should have lume on the hands as well. IMO the dial hasn't aged very well and I think you could find a better looking example with a little patience.

What do you mean by "assess"? Is it the monetary value? The condition? Authenticity?

I'll bite: There isn't a single aspect of this watch that makes it attractive to me. Not one single thing.

Not very attractive as already noted, plus the hands are all incorrect, one more strike.

    Its your money though.
