Hello! Today I have for sale a very special watch from my collection. It’s a vintage Seamaster with a rare black hobnail dial in a rose gold capped case. The dial on this watch is absolutely stunning and in perfect original condition. I bought this example off of forum member KyleL after trying to convince him to sell it to me for years. In all that time I didn’t see another one with a dial like this. The rose gold capped 2577 case is in excellent condition with nice sharp edges and no steel showing through. There is some patina on the gold that could easily be polished away but I chose not to. The movement is a 354 bumper in excellent working condition. It keeps time but I am not aware of the recent service history. The watch will ship head only via usps priority within the United States only. I haven’t been active on the forum much recently but I am a long-standing member and have plenty of references, including KyleL who sold me this watch. I am asking $2000 net to me fully shipped and insured. Feel free to ask me any questions and thanks for looking! Please note, the first two pictures were taken by the previous owner who takes far better photographs than me, all other photos are mine.
And the Oscar for the longest watch name for goes to...... Hobnail Hobnail. So good they named it twice. What a beautiful piece.
Whoever buys this gets the honour of owning one of the watches on page 1 of the"Arrivals, What Did You Buy..." thread
