Offering for sale a Seamaster Auto ref 14744, dating c.1962. In reasonable overall condition but the unusual dial gives it a wonderful look. Please see detailed description and pictures. I try to point out all imperfections but honesty is important to me so feel free to comment if I've missed anything. Details: Dial - uncommon Tuxedo style dial with lovely faceted hour markers, which are inlaid with onyx at 6, 9 and 12. The dial has some ageing and light marks but looks lovely in person. Hands are original and have some oxidation. Case - reference 14744 I Stainless Steel, with original old logo crown. Measures 34mm with 18mm lugs. Little/no corrosion to case. Sides appear to have been re-brushed years ago. Some scratches to caseback from failed openings. Movement - cal 503 automatic movement with date. Runs, winds, date sets etc as it should but loses around 45 secs/day. I've been wearing it occasionally in rotation for the last few months but service history is unknown and if it is to be worn daily a service is recommended. Terms - £550 GBP net to me.
