Hi all, I have inherited an Omega Seamaster 600 ref. ST136.0011. The strap is not original and ideally I would like to replace it with a genuine Omega one if possible. Does anyone know if they are still made?

Regarding value (for insurance purposes) it would be useful to know an approximate value. It is in good working order and has receipts for regular services dating back to 2006, when it also had a dial restore, all carried out by an authorised Omega dealer in the UK. I also have the original International Guarantee boklet and instruction manual as per the photos.

Your thoughts would be appreciated. Many thanks.

    Steve

    Very nice watch with papers.
Saw a Seamaster 600 without papers, but also restore dial for 750€ on eBay.
I don’t know the genuine Omega strap.
I hope i could help you.

I'm afraid the 600 to collectors is not worth a lot. The dial has been refinished and not in a good way. If it's was genuine reselling value would be app between EUR 500 and 800. With this dial... well. A couple of hundred maybe. But collectors wont touch it. So I would enjoy this piece as a great heirloom but that's about it. Hope this helps.

Looks more like a service dial to me.

There happen to be a lot of vintage Omega straps on eBay right now. There are, unfortunately, a lot of fakes, too.

Look how big the 600 is... Hands also not ok. Swiss made through the marker.

I did, one of the reasons I agree it is not original. But service dials have had different fonts too.

It would be interesting to know if it's a service dial because I did see these big 600's one time before on OF. It would be strange if omega used a dial with the big '600' and with a sloppy 'swiss made' through the marker.

Don’t think it is, I think it’s just the camera angle and distortion through the edge of the crystal.

Do you have a picture of the dial straight up?

Calling @Davidt. A couple of months ago we were discussing a dial with the big 600. Cant find that thread. It was the same right? Would be interesting to know if omega used service dials for these with the big 600.
