·Good morning Forum People!
The weather here in Sweden is really boring, with rain and strong winds,
so no boat, no beach and not much else to do outdoors at the moment…
So whats better to do than learning more about watches?
Even though I promised my wife to let it rest during our holiday?
This time I have found an Omega Seamaster 600.
The size is 34-35 mm.
The seller (one owner), does not have a clue regarding watches, and can't open the watch..
I like the dial, and that made me do som more researching!
Comparing to pictures this should have the referens 135.011.
And if so, a manual winding movement caliber 601.
Production year maybe 1965-1968?
The crystal is very scratched, but the dial and lume plots look promising.
There are some lume plots with possible discoloration?
It is hard to see the condition of the case and case- back, but I don't think they are too bad?
And the hipocampus is present and still sharp.
I can't see if the crown is signed.
I am not sure about the hour and minutehands, I have seen both these, and also hands that are ”thicker”.
And the lume on the hand are darker, but maybe thats normal?
I have asked for more pictures, but I am not counting on them...
So some final guidance from you Guys and Gals would be nice?
