    Need help!.

I am very new to the forum.

I am considering purchase of 300M ( current blue ceramic version and not the upcoming 42 MM). I have the following queries.

    1. My wrist size is almost 7inch and will the 41mm size of the watch be ideal or should I consider big sized planet ocean series.I am avoiding the new upcoming 42 MM due to its case thickness and also for the fact that I did not like the markings on the bezel, especially at 12'O clock position.

    2. When 41MM 300M blue is compared to Planet ocean black bezel version ( white or orange numerals),which one has more wrist presence.

3.In terms of wearing comfort, which out of the two is better.

    Thank you all in advance

Judging by your profile pic, I think we already have a winner here.
SM300 is definitely slimmer in profile though.

As both are in the current line up I would suggest going to your local AD and try both on, that’s the best way to see which suits you.

If you find the SM 300 too small I would suggest the blue 42 planet ocean

That you're gonna have to try them out yourself. But I doubt SM300 will be too small.

I have a 7 inch wrist and have owned both the smpc and the 42mm 8500 PO. The PO has more wrist presence because it’s thicker, but the smpc is more comfortable. Both can work on a 7 inch wrist. I initially loved the PO but over time the weight began to bother me, so I kept the smpc. I just ordered the 42mm PO in titanium tho, hoping that the decreased weight will be just right. We’ll see.

I got a 6,5 inch wrist and the 41 mm wears just fine.

Also, divers are ok if oversized :) 8F4E2E17-AF5E-4804-952E-32108CAE2DCE.jpeg

Congrats with your purchase Ishibs! Amazing watch...

I'm in the same boat a you where... choosing between some popular divers, see these threads

    https://omegaforums.net/threads/tou...2018-vs-seamaster-diver-previous-model.80234/

First I was between the old and new SMPc, now I'm between SMPc, PO, Pelagos.

Personally, i would always regret not having bought the newer version because of some serious upgrades (8800 movement, bracelet redesign, clasp adjustment and last but not least the see through case back). The only doubt I had with the newer version are the waves, but looking daily at some pics of the new SMPc it is growing... I also think that in the metal it will look better than on those huge pictures.

Just bought the sea master 300 with a black dial. Oh in 36.25. Try the watches on a look in the mirror. Makes a huge difference. Accuracy is +2 day

    Thanks a lot.

Well I thought of getting this version while it is still in stock as this blue colour looks attractive to me ( as opposed to other blue variations on other seamasters including PO and 300M chrono version).

I agree with you that new version has good improvements. I may consider getting a black version of the new model once Ive had a chance to see it in person.

Congrats for the new blue one!
Hi "Hedet", any pictures of the blue Ti PO in 42mm?! I am currently hesitating between the black you had and the blue you will have...

I really like this one. Still honeymoon period so I don’t want to go overboard... but so far it’s the best watch I’ve owned. I loved the steel PO but the weight eventually proved a deal breaker. This one is super comfortable, yet retains all the things I love about the 8500 (font and bezel markings as compared to the 8900). I’ve ordered the adjustable clasp, which should fix my only strong complaint. It is shinier than the steel 8500, but it looks better than I thought it would.
