·## Omega Seamaster 300m “Olympics for 1994” - No Olympic Rings on Dial? Anyone seen this before?
Hi everyone,
I recently acquired an Omega Seamaster 300m Quartz, reference 396.1062, with some rather unusual details.
---
### 🔍 Details
- Caseback engraving:
I've searched extensively online but couldn’t find another example of this combination - an Olympics engraved caseback without the Olympic rings on the dial.
Most 1994 Lillehammer editions have the rings printed above the center pinion.
---
### 📷 Photos
Front Dial (no wave, no rings):
Caseback (Olympics engraving):
Side / Lugs:
Additional dial angle:
Bracelet / Clasp:
---
### ❓ My questions
Any insight, catalog scans, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much for your help 😊

### ❓ My questions
- Has anyone owned or seen the exact same watch?
- Could this be an early production batch before Omega added the rings, or perhaps a dial replacement done later?
- If anyone has requested an Extract of the Archives for a similar watch, did it mention the dial details?
Any insight, catalog scans, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much for your help 😊
