That’s a watch you definitely know the history of! Did you send it back to the original watchmaker for service?
No, I actually am fortunate to have and have found a local one. He has my 2254.50 in for service now.

Very nice, but are these really that much less expensive than original seamaster 300?

Not really. Even ten years ago.

The watchco’s sell cheaper than the vintage seamaster 300. How much depends on the condition. At the end of the day the watchco’s are modern watches, so you can’t really draw a comparison.

Looks great! Enjoy, you got one with matching lume!!

It's almost impossible to get perfectly-matching lume between dial & hands as Omega doesn't "bin" their service parts for orders from third-party watchmakers.

Mine are slightly off, but in real-world usage, not noticable.

I seem to remember that - for vintage CWC's - having mismatched lume is a good indicator of an original, non-relumed watch. 🤣

Missmatching dila/hands lume on watchco is mainly indicator of the eraly "original" Watcho`s from Australia...I have 2 pieces assembled in Europe (date &no date) and both are having matching lume.
