    Hi

Wow.....Ebay Seller rocks up with his early 165.024 and a frankly , ridiculous listing price (and bid)....I thought we were discussing a 2913 like these:

In my opinion you are ridiculos. Because i am a serious. You post the photos of another Watch .And what its your opinion? You dont have opinion. A intelligent person look in silent and not speak for free time.
I wrote a lot of Word.and you what Remember? Only 12k. Good friend. You are very very very intelligent.

Well you asked for opinions on price and you've got them.

The green colouration may be consistent, but it's generally associated with moisture ingress or degradation. Plus it's not particularly handsome to look at, so it is less desirable than one with yellow/orange.

Good luck with your sale, but I'd agree your price is very optimistic.

There is a 165.024 for sale on the "private watch sales" sub forum for 6500 Euro.
This should give you some idea of value for these watches.

1963. The Seamaster 300. FYI OP (and other members as well) there is no DOT in either reference number btw. HF cases were dotless. Later CB references had dots.

The BIN was 9k but he never sold it so he put it at 1euros no reserve and finally sold it a 4.5k if I remember well...

I put a trade value of mine at 8k ( that is 2 generation before yours) and I was told that I was too high...

Let me just say that if I were selling that watch and had a buyer at €11999 I'd take it. I'm not sure how the early reference stacks up against the dial, which has very dark lume, in terms of value, but can say my own preference would in this case be for a slightly later reference with a better (lighter lume) dial.
Continually telling how rare it is and how original all the parts are and how if you don't get your price you're keeping it isn't impressing anybody around here.

    Thanks.
Just a last comment, most of us here are not buying a price... But a watch. Even if the price is a bargain, personally, if I don't like it, I will not buy it.
If you are not happy with the price estimation that trust full members gave you, you should certainly keep it and enjoy it.

You are doing a good job here then.
You seem to think you know more than the people you have asked advice from, I doubt this very much.
You are not contributing anything here, piss off and either sell or keep you fairly ordinary Seamaster, no-one cares.

The best way to get sell it for its current market value is to list it in eBay with a .99 start. You will get a lot of people fighting over it and it will sell for its true market value. I would recommend some clearer photos too. Yes you pay some fees but in the U.K. there is a £50 cap on eBay fees for watches so that's not bad at all compared to other sales routes.
