I want to like it especially when I see it in pictures
But then I try it on and no dice
I must have tried it on ten different times
I actually felt the same way about the Titanium and blue Seamaster 300 when I tried it on. The details are there but the lightness of the watch made it feel almost toy-like, and for some reason I think the blue is a little off in person. In pictures it looks stunning, but for whatever reason for me the blue doesn't work when it's on the wrist.
That said, I think I like the black Seamaster 300 better in person than pics. It doesn't have the lightness problem of the titanium, and to me it's perfectly balanced on my wrist. Also, the powderish (for lack of a better word) finish on the dial picks up better in the black vs the blue. Just MHO though.....
