A salesman in my local AD told me the bond 300 will be out soon In a special box and more than likely a nato. I'm not a huge fan of bond special editions and I hope they don't destroy it with "I am bond!" Across the dial.
On a more interesting note he did say Omega are working on a slimmer Planet Ocean, to me that is an interesting prospect.

Any update on this and if it will actually turn out to be a LE?

Nine that I've heard, but if it is I should think it won't be a valuable one on the long run

The news of getting a LE SM300 fullfills my wishes. But one thing makes me wonder. Why should they offer another LE. Selling 15007 LE pieces will be a tough job I think. In "Skyfall" they managed to rename an AT without any further LE Extras. So why shouldn't they do it again, with Daniel just wearing a SM 300 on a Nato?

I heard it is definitely a Nato band from an Omega Boutique.

Well, I hope they give the ss bracelet as well or that'll be a very overpriced puppy

This is what I'm afraid of and they will probably offset the lack of bracelet with a fancy box that will languish in a cupboard after the first day.

Well, but the box will be handy once you get tired of the 007 stuff and try to sell it to get a normal smp300

Not trying to start a argument or this is better than that.... just wondering why there is so much hate for the 007 LE's on the board? I am new here and am just interested in other people's opinions and views.

It's not that hot an issue that it will ensue an argument. It is just that many, (I'll include me) will perceive a watch branded with guns, 007 logo's, emblems etc as a little bit of a gimmick. like something out of a Disney Park or a pop corn stand. The watch is still a great watch but you're paying extra to advertise a fictional character in a movie that was paid to have the watch included in it...Would be funny if a Real Bond had a watch that said "Bond' or 007 or had gun barrels in it...not very "secret" agent of him. It's an action figure watch.

By comparison for a little less you can get the actual watch, without any bubble gum tricks, then buy yourself a NATO bracelet and wear it in good health and be as cool as you want to be. This applies to the AT, The PO's the SMP300 original Bond, the SMP300 Mcx

The current Bond wears Tom Ford suits...imagine I buy a suit just like it that has a printed pattern of 007 and a label in the lapel saying James Bond. I would probably look a little bit like a clown. Now imagine Tom Ford actually charged me more for that suit...

The original sm300 mc is the real bond watch, the limited edition James Bond emblazoned sm300 is in reality a copy of the real thing and will appeal to fewer people. Never mind the Tom Ford suits with 007 on the breast pocket what special type of dickhead would spend good money on an Aston Martin with James Bond written on the back bumper?

I can confirm that a SM300 LE will be offered... Stephen Urquhart was wearing it on Sunday and let me see it for just a quick glimpse...

Now this is just a prototype, but...
    Gloss dial not faux patina
Brushed bracelet (no PCL) ( with NATO in the box - like the AT LE with cordura)
Subtle changes to the second hand and Bezel, and '007' on the clasp...

    Super cool!

Damn that does sound cool. Hope they issue a non 007 version.

I was wondering about patina and bond. Seemed too affected

Yes... The new LE will be great, but I agree with you Sergio...

I was happier to have the actual watch...
