Seamaster caseback with 2914-2 ref# ? movement serial number is 15881686...might want to take a note in case we see it again.
Tried to make a pretty link but failed I guess. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-SeaMaster-300-Automatic-Divers-Watch-501-Ref-2914-2-SC/133291751233?hash=item1f08ceb741:g:2lUAAOSwN8hd7WzJ
I messaged the seller politely explaining to him that his offering was a fake. He disagreed. “Be positive and provide legitimate information to support your doubt. Yes, the Omega in Switzerland has been contacted regarding the watch. I have the watch for several years, and in 2020 Omega will have an improved database for handling certificates, but not yet. And please do not call my genuine watch fraud (I am not in the fraud business), it is GENUINE and that can be easily noticed by a qualified person. It is a rare and valuable wacth, that does not make it fake. Enough of this J” I’ve reported this to EBay

So just curious - what am I looking at here? The inscription inside the caseback doesn't ring bells till you look at the SEAMASTER on the outside - but the whole thing doesn't look newly made at all. I mean if you were to see the inside of that caseback, wouldn't you think it was just the correct one for a Railmaster?
