I currently own the Omega Seamster 300 chronograph 41mm. In speaking with a friend of mine, he is looking to buy the (as close as he can get) Rolex equivalent to this watch. He insists that the Rolex will hold its value better than mine. I told him I really did not buy mine as an investment; just bought it wear and enjoy it. With that said, does anyone have any thoughts on this subject and which Rolex would be a good equivalent to my Seamaster? Thanks all.
Unless you're in the vintage Rolex, Speedmaster, Patek, Vacheron stratosphere, buy and enjoy what makes your heart sing. Cheers,
I guess the closest Rolex would be a Daytona. For what it's worth, he's probably right that the Rolex will hold it's value, but there is a massive difference in the initial expense.
