I sold the watch to a close friend, and he found out that the dial is glued to the mainplate...needless to say, news to me, so I have accepted a return and am relisting.

For everyone that has dealt with me, I am 100% honest and strive to ensure that all of my watches are described well and there are no surprises.

I am going to describe the watch to the best of my abilities, and I a more than happy to discuss the watch with any interested parties.

Case: Appears to have had 1 case polish, all lines are sharp, but the sides and tops of lugs are not brushed in the factory manner. No major dents or dings other than the scratches on the case back. I have pictured the watch next to my 300 Date so you can see that the lines and thickness is still very strong, a correct brushing will bring it back to spec.

Dial: Original dial with sympathetic lume restoration. It is difficult to tell from the naked eye, but a loupe shows that the application is a bit heavy on the BT, but overall, it looks very close to factory. The lume glow is very faint, just like tritium, but has a different hue as pictured when compared the bezel and my other 300. Dial feet have been removed and dial is glued to mainplate.

Hands: Original hands with lume restoration

Bezel: Original tritum bezel with very light eggshell patina. The retaining ring is good, but the click jewels are gone, so it turns smoothly with no rachet click. There a picture of the bezel/dial glow compared to my other 300.

Movement: 25,617,xxx serial cal.552 that is running well, service history unknown.

Crystal: signed Omega

Crown: Original close foot Naiad

Understanding that this watch has the lume restoration, dial foot issue, and the case polish, but is still is a beautiful example, I am asking $3,495 NET Shipped in the CONUS via Registered Mail. Would've gotten this myself if I didn't just buy something else. Despite is flaws, it's still a lovely watch overall!

Thanks a lot for this post, it means a lot coming from a well respected member such as yourself.

If there is one thing that I have learned from the OF over the past year, it is that honesty is the key to keeping the hobby/passion enjoyable for everyone.

It is a really pretty watch, and will a case brush and new click bearings will make someone very happy.
