·Time to sell my Seamaster 300 - I really like this watch but think it's time to let it go.
Reference 2913-6, cal. 501 movement with a 15m serial number could be early. I tried to get an Extract to confirm production date and reference, but Omega was not able to provide an Extract for it due to missing records. It runs very well, losing perhaps a minute every week and a half or so; it was last serviced about 2 years ago.
It's in beautiful condition, really nice case and original Naiad crown. Dial has a gorgeous patina, with a small mark on it near 6 o'clock - not noticeable on the wrist. The minute hand lume had a small hole in it when I bought it that was filled and matched at that service - no other cosmetic work has been done.
The bezel - when I bought it it was described to me as original, yet "stabilized" - I assume it has been laquered somehow. There is some wear on the laquer near the crown between the 10 and 20-minute markers, probably from past hand-winding. I do believe it's original, though I am not an expert on these so have provided close-up photos. If it's not original, it's a very high-quality reproduction - perhaps an Aldo.
I'm asking $15,000 for this (or best offer), head-only. Fully insured express shipping will be included in the purchase price. I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area and can exchange in person at a secure, public location. I will offer a full refund less shipping charges within 3 days of receipt, if the watch is returned in exactly the same condition it was sent. Please note that photos are part of the description.
