    Hello OF fam,

I have nearly accounted for my 16750 and pre-moon Speedy purchase, which I recently shared with you, so this will be the last watch I am listing for some time.

    00.jpg

Last up is an Omega Seamaster 300 reference 165.024 with cal 552 movement and Big Triangle dial:

Case: The case is in very nice condition and retains original factory brushing/polishing on the lugs. There are a few dings to the bottom of the lower lugs, not visible when the watch is on the wrist. There are tiny superficial scratches, commensurate with age.

    Crown: Signed screw down crown.

Caseback: Excellent condition screw down caseback with super sharp writing. Inside is marked 165.024.

Movement: Cal 552 automatic movement, which appears very clean. This watch was not serviced in my possession but has been running great. Automatic winding, manual winding, and time settling are crisp. If you intend on wearing it daily, a service is always recommended. While I did not request a full Extract, I emailed a contact at the Omega Museum who confirmed "According to the archives, the MVT number 24.702.856 corresponds to a ref ST 165.024, caliber 552, production February 22, 1967."

Dial: Excellent condition with even tritium lume and pinholes at 12 and 6 o'clock. T-Swiss Made-T is written on the dial at 6 o'clock but is slightly obscured by the crystal ring (See close up photo). The dial lume tone is slightly lighter than the hands. Please see the attached video under UV light. Everything fades evenly and at a similar rate.

Bezel: Bi-directional clicking Tritium bezel in good condition. There are are few small cracks to the bezel at 10 o'clock and just before 12 o'clock, as seen in the photos.

Hands: Sword hands in good condition. The lume has aged slightly darker on the hands than on the dial.

Crystal: Signed flat floot Omega crystal.

Bracelet: The pictured bracelet was a later replacement and is now on my Speedy, so it is NOT included in the sale. The watch will be shipped on the nice thick leather strap from Hirsch as shown in the wrist shot photo.

For full disclosure, I ran this watch by Kim, our resident Seamaster expert who believes the serial number may be a bit early for the case/bezel style. Therefore, I am pricing this watch below market prices at $7000 OBRO, which will include free worldwide shipping with Fedex/ParcelPro. I have many positive references here if you search my username in the Seller Profile section. Returns are accepted only if the watch is misrepresented, so I am happy to provide any additional photos and answer any questions prior to purchase.

Had the chance to see this in person last week. Nicest dial and case I've seen on one of these. GLWS!

Thanks for the messages and interest so far. I was asked a few times about the dial. The lume on this dial is original and it is not a service dial (there were no Big Triangle service dials as far as people know). In fact, this lume color is very similar to other BTs from the time period, particularly the military BTs. For example:

I have added some macros of the dial and case below!

I am also happy to provide a copy of the email detailing the Extract information to interested buyers.

    Have a good weekend!

Saw this watch in person and it's beautiful, in great condition, and wears very well on the wrist.
