路Hi all,
I have a new motorcycle purchase coming up in a few weeks so I will be selling a few watches. First up is a very nice example of a reference 2975-3 with large seahorse caseback medallion.
The dial is a beautiful even patina that appears champagne in outdoor lighting and copper/pinkish with indoor lighting. I will attach photos in several different light settings. The dial is also a double signed Turler dial, which was a high end retailer in Switzerland. No lume loss on the dial.
The hands are original, very good condition. Please note, there is no lume loss on the hands. The center of the hands has darkened while the tips remain slightly lighter in color.
Original crystal with Omega logo in the center. Original crown flatfoot Omega logo.
The case is quite strong and does not appear polished to me. There are small scuffs throughout, commensurate with age. Case diameter is 35mm without the crown and approximately 43mm lug to lug.
The caseback is in very good condition with large seahorse medallion. "Waterproof" underneath the logo is clearly visible.
Inside caseback is stamped 2975-3. 16.5 million serial on the cal 501 movement. I do not know the service history but the watch is winding, setting, and running smoothly.
The watch will take an 18mm strap. I do not have any spare straps at the moment, so the watch will be sold head only.
Overall, a very nice example if you have been looking to add a 2975 to your collection. The dial color and double signed dial make this a unique watch.
I am asking $950 which will include shipping in the US. International deals are no problem, and I have done many before. International shipping will be at cost minus what I would pay for US shipping.
Thanks for looking and thanks OF for the space! Later on I will be listing my 2254.50 diver and jumbo 37mm Omega chronograph, cal. 27 CHRO.
