I recently bought an Omega Seamaster 200m "Prebond" auto full size - an Omega Seamaster with mercedes hands and integrated bracelet. The reference number per the seller is 368.10.41, with the Omega Calibre 1111 (which I believe is ETA 2892-2). Any one have any thoughts on this movement? I assume that's the right reference number, but I haven't opened it up. Probably paid too much for it, but I haven't seen many of these pop up, let alone an auto full-size with box and papers. I wonder what the market is for these nowadays.

Given the crown, the casebook and the single (not double) bracelet clasp, plus Mercedes hands, I believe it is an early version - possibly 1986 or so, but I'm not sure (thoughts?).

I’m considering whether to send it to Omega for the full service they advertise on their website and a new bracelet and bezel. I’m wondering if it’s worth it/how much it might run me? Or how long that type of thing takes (some weddings coming up). I don’t have a ton of experience with vintage watches or omega’s service on vintage watches (my other watch is a Railmaster LE).

    Thanks for your feedback.

Yes the movement called out for this is a Cal. 111, which is essentially an ETA 2892. Note that the bezel is no longer available, so Omega won't be able to supply you a new one.

You can use Omega for the service, but be aware that they may change parts on the watch that you may not want changed - like dial and hands. If you want to be sure that those things will stay, find yourself an independent watchmaker with an Omega parts account.

    Cheers, Al

I’m curious...how much do folks think one of these is worth now? (40MM, automatic, Mercedes hands). I overpaid for this when I bought it, but now I’m wondering how much it would fetch.

    Thanks!

I am looking to buy one of these if you still have it and are looking to part with it?
