Dear fellow forum members, I've recently purchased a Omega Seamaster from 1963. It's a 18K pink gold beauty. The case lists 14700 SC 61. I cannot seem to find this reference in the Omega Archives for a rose gold case. Online there is a yellow gold version (http://www.47ddc.com/watches/vintag...c-cal-552-18k-solid-gold-automatic-watch.html) and a couple of SS ones. Can someone tell me more about reference numbers - and the fact that I have a rose gold version that is not listed in the online archives for Omega? Thanks! Simon
Here is the listing for Ref. 14700: http://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage-watches-database?ref=14578 Most popular references were offered in an array of different metals. Omega used to list these options on their database, but inexplicably deleted them some years ago. Don't think there were a lot of these rose gold cases made. They were expensive then as now. gatorcpa
If you ever get tired of this please let me know, be happy to take it off your hands...or more commonly known here as dibs! Oh and congratulations on a very nice watch!
