··"I cut it TWICE and it's still short!"Omega Seamaster 168.023 Sparkle Dial Day-Date on Bracelet
Here's the story:
I recently bought this watch because it's a great reference that isn't often seen in this nice condition and the price was low. I paid $750 plus a tank of gas to pick it up. I then ordered the new bracelet from Omega and installed it (the photo of the bracelet in plastic is what came from Omega and is the same bracelet attached in the other photos.) So I'm selling it for what I paid, which I think is still on the lower side for a case in this condition with a brand new bracelet. (I'm selling several watches because I bought a LE Speedmaster that I've wanted for several years.)
The one thing the pictures don't describe is how it runs. It needs a service, not because it doesn't keep accurate time but because the guy I got it from hadn't serviced it and he had it awhile, although said he had stopped wearing it. (He had a nice vintage Pepsi GMT on when we met.)
The day-date is designed to adjust by pulling out the crown and pushing it back in. The date does not adjust consistently. Another reason for a service.
Price is $1250 USD with shipping and insurance to USA. Elsewhere to be discussed.
Returns only if the watch was not described accurately. Please examine the photos closely, as I have tried to show the good, bad and the ugly. PM if you have any questions.
Watch is located on West Coast, USA.
