I would be interested in purchasing this piece if you are still looking to sell it. I have references as a buyer - known dealer and individuals. If you are interested let me know here or we can connect via phone.
Thanks, Ry

@brownmoose13 I would service it asking the watchmaker to keep all parts original and definetely keep it. If you wouldn't wear it - pass it to your kids, this one is a great watch and emotional value makes will make it special for your family.

OP stated earlier that he has no kids or close relatives.

Also on a broader note, I think it’s a bit out of place for members to say what people should do with their watches - especially in this case where the OP has already said that he wants to sell. In many cases we don’t know the history; maybe someone inherited a watch from parents they don’t speak to, maybe someone got fired due to covid and needs the money, maybe someone would rather pay for their kid’s college than give him/her a watch etc. All I’m saying is that the standard “keep the watch for sentimental value”, whilst I’m sure comes from a good heart, often reflects our own situation and not that of the OP which we often know nothing of.

And to the OP: great looking watch. I’m sure it’ll sell well.
