Looking for some knowledgeable advice on this vintage 70s Seamaster ref 166.0215. I have had trouble finding many examples online, let alone with the blue dial. From what I have found, the dial text layout is different.

The movement looks OK, but I also am unsure about the bracelet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Now on to some pics...

Dial looks fine in terms of the printing and colour, as these did come with a blue dial. The only thing that looks different than the dial I have seen on these is the form of the applied Omega logo. The style I have seen is the more modern rounded Omega logo.

    Cheers, Al

Thanks, this is the only one I found on Chrono24 and dial looks exact same including Omega logo, hands, etc. but as you can see, the bracelet is different as well as caseback. ‍♂️

Thanks Al. Seller is going to send me pics of serial number to help “age” the watch and also says bracelet is original. However, I can’t find any info on this “1034” bracelet.

Most Seamasters similar to this I found all have the 1287/250 bracelet. Any suggestions on the difference in casebacks? Thanks in advance.

The bracelet isn't right - doesn't even appear to fit correctly. Omega has the 1287/250 listed for this case.

Not unusual that the case back had more than one case number stamped inside, so that I wouldn't worry about personally. But these aren't really rare or highly valued watches, so if you don't feel 100$, walk away. note that I would count on a full service as well, unless the seller can provide proof (not just their word) that it was recently serviced by a known good service provider.

    Cheers, Al

It doesn’t have end links for the bracelet, which is disclosed in the listing. It’s only $700, if I were to purchased i would add the correct bracelet, looks like $200 or so on eBay.

$700 is about $500 too much.
