Hello,
Looking to buy a Omega Seamaster 166.010, preferably with the 565 movement.
Also, date magnifier is a big plus😀

Bracelet is not necessary but would be nice if its included.

I am located in Norway.

Four options:
First see if anyone is offering one here.
Second, pm @nanjingcigaretes on OF, it’s his sort of watch.
Third & fourth, eBay and Chron24 but with these sites, you may want to check the watch out on OF before you buy.
Funnily enough, I bought my 166.010 cal 565 on Chrono24 at a reasonable price but the same watch was being offered at higher prices on eBay. Mine is from Japan.
It’s always possible to fit a new generic crystal for about £10 😀

Thank you for your reply!😀
And a good point regarding the crystal, so I won’t let that limit me.

I have seen a lot of offerings from Japan on Chrono24

There was a watch being presented on this forum a couple of weeks ago that got me interested in the 166.010, seems like a good watch for the money - as long as you buy it well

I bought mine in 2020 but I think the prices are generally the same. If you buy from Japan, some sellers photos can be a little ‘bleached out’ to hide blemishes or patina.
This is mine

I would buy these directly from yahoo auctions in Japan using a proxy bidder. You have tons of options because Japan is crawling with this reference. So I would be picky about condition and the correct crown.

Thats very interesting.
I wonder why these are so numerous in Japan?

The seller has already given me a tracking number, so I suspect it won’t be long before it’s here😀

Hope you didn't buy one with dashes at both ends of Swiss Made

It means the hour markers are painted with black paint, not onyx inserts.

Either way, the listing clearly stated it

oh yes!
The listing is very good and informative.
By "I was not aware", I meant I was not aware that there existed versions with onyx and versions with black painted hands.

Interesting fact, is that true for all Seamasters? All Omegas? My 168.022 in the picture.
