Just purchased an Omega Seamaster 166.003, calibre 562 with date on the 3 o'clock. Now for this particular watch I seem to have problems finding information.

Is it for example possible to hand wind all automatic Omega's with the 500 calibre range? Does the 562 have an easy date setting possibility? I don't want to force anything and find out more first.

It would be great receiving more info on this watch.

edit: this post was put on the wrong forum. It's obviously a vintage watch. Sorry for this.

Yes your watch can be hand wound. No it does not have a quick set date. You can however turn the hands from about 9 o'clock past 12, and then back again to advance the date without having to turn the full 24 hours for each day.
