    Hello Omega-Friends,

I am using this opportunity to introduce myself and my new Omega Watch. We are both from 1968 and still in good shape and nothing has replaced so far ;)

Well, some aging here and there. It is what is :)

I am coming from good old Hillbilly Munich in Germany, yes we have the original Octoberfest-Beer and many Watch-Fans. I am feeling more or less like an alien here in germany, because my heart is beating mainly for 3 things.
Family, Church & Rockabilly & Hillbilly Music

But in order to track the time, I am long time fan of Omega's Watches. I am not a collector, mainly jumping from 6 to 6 when it comes to watches.

My first Omega watch was a classic OMEGA Seamaster GMT, which I sold 2 years ago, my second Omega watch was the Omega Seamaster 176.007 in Blue, which I sold last year.

Now I believe I have found the right bacon and I would like to introduce the new Seamaster -Bacon now:

I really hope you like the watch and you guys can help me to found a better bezel, not in NOS.
Furthermore any detail information is welcome, especially what you think about this Omega Watch.

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi Sean,

thank you very much, yes in Japan is rockabilly still very popular like in Europe and US, it's coming back and I have the right beats for them on my youtube channel :)

    Hi Peter

Welcome to the forum....that's a very nice BT sm300 you have there....I like them a lot and have one or two....:D

The bezel is pretty good shape & the numbering matches the dial markers - so I would be inclined to leave it. It will prove difficult to source a 'loose' bezel....you may be better off finding a donor watch instead.

    Best - Neil

    Hi Neil,

thanks a lot for the warm welcome.
Guess you are right with the bezel question, but maybe a collector has a spare item. :)
Can you please post pictures of your Seamaster's?

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Welcome Peter.

I live near Cologne so "Herzlich Willkommen". Lovely example of a 300. I have just purchased a 120 which is currently in transit and Flame is thinking is selling me one of his 300s (although he doesn't know it yet!)

Ps I am a gigging blues/jump musician - 40s and 50s stuff, so a big overlap there too.

Hey, thanks a lot, a Oldsmobile is my favorite Nr1. Car, after Audi :) BMW is a nice sport waggo and my son loves the BMB Museum in munich, which is way better then Audi museum in Ingolstadt.

Nice show.....the band matches the wonderful patina of the watch.....it's a great enhancement.
