I hope you are able to get it @Taybharr. I really enjoy wearing mine when I decide to let it out of the box. It is currently my only vintage Omega piece so I take really good care of it the best I can. Let us know if you get it!

Update on this thread and this watch. Since the seller described the watch as serviced, I asked for a measurement of the timekeeping, and he sent a result of -27 seconds/day, which didn’t seem right on a watch that had just been serviced. I told the seller I would like to see this rectified before proceeding since the watch was described as serviced. He decided to send it to his watchmaker to have it regulated. A few weeks later we start talking about the watch again as he got it back. During the visit, I guess the hour hand was filled with more black material, as a piece was missing, which was covered by the Chrono hand in the earlier pictures. He also raised the price a bit; I guess to account for the trip to the watchmaker. After asking a few questions, the seller asked if I was still interested because he had 3 other people asking to buy, which seemed like an obvious sales tactic to close the deal. This was a few days ago and the watch is still sitting there, so my suspicions have been confirmed. This, paired with the earlier claims of a serviced watch, and concealment of the damage to the hour hand soured me on the whole situation. Plus, 3550 GBP I think is just a bit too much for the watch

This seller has some nice pieces (esp omegas) on sale but I always find his prices a bit too optimistic.

Yes, the condition is typically quite good from this seller. As for the prices, well dealers have to make a living.

In general, I sometimes feel that vintage watch dealers believe they are the customers, and we should be lucky to buy from them. This seems to primarily apply to dealers with large, diverse inventories. Vintage is just so hot right now that they must feel certain another buyer is just right around the corner. Granted, these folks probably deal with a lot of silly questions and get fed up, but it is an odd dynamic.
