I was half lucky on this item. Firstly I got it for the price of a movie ticket. But ... as you can see in the pics. The link at one end is missing !! Would it be possible to cut back one link to even it out & then be able to put the pin bar through? Any ways I am sure it will come in handy for some project down the line
an endpiece to connect to the lugs on this bracelet needs 3 hoops the right side is ok. the left needs the 3 hoops, Either that, or open up carefully the five hoops closest to the left end and remove the last link. Leave the inner 3 connected. Then close up the 3 hoops remaining and connect your endpiece.
Here's a correct link for it. A little rough, but cheap http://www.ebay.com/itm/390934313289?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Thank you so much !! ... That will do nicely. Very cheap way to get a vintage beaded strap together. Much obliged pitpro
You will need two of them though. And you need to open the two links on the big end and remove the big end lugs, you may have to cut the bar if it isn't a push pin. That'll leave you with an end identical to the other one with three exposed links that will accept the end pieces.
Thanks Jim . Yep your spot on. I will need 2 of them . And it looks possible to remove the links to match them up. So happy days!
