·The rubber strap on my omega seamaster 300M has started breaking. It has not been too long that I bought this. Has anyone else faced a similar issue?

·Actually, I have a similar problem with the rubber strap on my white dial, but the one with the threads around the outside. It snapped off on the 'tail' after the deployant.

·I've had similar problems with with square tongue holes before in rubber straps, I presume that the square slot produces a stress riser with repeated flexing.

·Is that covered as part of the warranty? Even if it is wear and tear, I would not expect an Omega rubber strap to break like that so soon.
