Hi to all. Thank you for accepting me in this wonderful world...
I show you my last Omega, I really think that is so elegant, I really enjoy to wear it. It’s a rose gold case with a 268 caliber inside. Serial is 17,8 milion about. I’d like to know a little more.. can you help me? Do you think that is all genuine?
I’m looking also for the buckle because the original one is missed. Witch one i have to buy?

    Thank you

How wide is the present buckle (inside)? 14 or 16mm?

I’m sorry but I have sent it to my watchmaker for a service. I think it is 16 but also the strap is not genuine

If you want to keep the nice strap, measure your present buckle and buy one with the same inner width. I have borrowed the picture from @omegastar ’s thread. I just got a steel buckle like the one in the picture. Gold buckles in that design are rare and often costly. Best of luck!

The strap is not important for me since it was really cheap; i have swapped it with a new one.. I’d like to know if I have to looking for a 16 mm or 18 mm buckle, and if I have to look for a gold plated or 18kt gold. Thank you

They were often made in 16 mm inner width, and come in 2 designs - basically round or square shaped.

As they are hallmarked, you can safely assume these are the genuine article.

They crop up on ebay, and can be bought for around £100 or so

    Best of luck, paul
