I've been watching the Rio games the last few days but only saw this Omega ad tonight; thought it was well done. I know OmegaForums members hail from different countries - hope the community doesn't mind my sharing it!
I am sometimes greeted with this image of Phelps in silhouette when I log into the Omega Extranet...also sometimes that old George dude, and the plastic looking Australian lady, plus a few others...thankfully that screen is only up for a few seconds... Have not seen this advert yet on TV...
Omega have been associated with the Olympics for a long time - they had a really good article on it in their official magazines a few issues ago. Really interesting to read about the evolution of the finish line & photo finish timing mechanisms over the years.
The IMAX in London (Waterloo) has a full building sized Omega billboard at the moment. Working from home today so can't take a photo, but it's pretty massive!
