Hereby offering a nicely patinated Omega 2639-14 from circa 1953 in stainless steel.
The dial has aged with an orange tint to parts of the dial while the radium lume has aged mostly dark. There is some minor bubbling to the dial. The markers and applied logo are beautiful and sparkling. The hands have aged to darker than the markers and the lettering is crisp and clear.
The case is in very good condition without any major nicks, only a few very minor scratches are visible on the right-hand side of the case. The crown is an Omega item, though I believe it is a replacement. The caseback has some hairlines. Crystal is Omega-marked.
Case size is 36mm, 18mm lug width. If the buyer wishes so, I'll let the thin Hirsch band stay on.
While I've worn it, I haven't noticed any issues with the cal. 266 movement, but service history is unknown and a service would be a wise move if you were to wear this one regularly. The winding takes a bit more force than I've experienced in serviced 30mm movements.
I am asking $400/€340 for this via bank transfer, PayPal can also be arranged. Shipping is possible to everywhere at cost (typically around €16 for tracked shipping). I will be happy to take returns for any reason within a week of delivery, return shipping on buyer's cost. Watch is located in Denmark, EU.
