Sold one of my cars, a motorcycle and a caravan all which I never used, so have funds to buy rare watches that won’t bleed money like vehicles do.
Even Mrs E thinks it’s a good idea.
👍

Dammit.......

Being a fan of old Omega chronographs and this one really stood out. Very strong price too.
Congrats!

Show and tell then Gaz 👍
I have lost 1000s on bikes and cars over the last few years. Watches not so much.
Cheers, Michael

I bought that one for my own collection 👍
It blew me away the second I saw it.
Also the reference and exact same details as the watch worn by Tom Cruise in War of the worlds so added bonus there.
So you are the one who beat me to it.😒 Darn; although happy to see it here in the OF family. Do post pics when you receive it.

And since no one has called it yet, I get FIRST DIBS.😀

Note to self, when the watch is good, swing fast and swing hard.😡

Vintage Harley-Davidson, although the running costs are substantially higher. I’m sure I’d at least get my money back.

Lovely.
Spoilt for choice there 👍
I've had a couple of modern HDs and in fact made money on them when I sold one (Rocker c) and traded another for a watch (Fatboy) but that was around 7 bikes ago 😁

Harley is not a bike. It's an idea for old men, to get their youth back.....

I’m imagining you on a Harley wearing a cowboy hat and a cut looking like Richard Hammond does every time he drives an American car lol

Ah, no. As a Milwaukee resident, I have to say hell no. People of all ages ride Harleys, including women. Yes, there is a lifestyle you can choose, if you want, but it's not required.
