I'm planning to buy this watch today Sunday 18 sept.
But after some research on the web , I don't find this dial configuration. I have seen dials with identical hands but on those dials the index is much wider and almost symmetric except 12,3,6 and 9 markers.
Is this a redial and should i stay away ?
I don't find the watch in the Omega book "A Journey Through Time" either so I'm a bit confused.

Picture on the watch that's for sale:

I am no expert but "s" in seamaster looks off. Also, have not seen this dial configuration before but I'm not a seamaster

Tnx for your input ! I did not even think of that the font could be wrong on this one. I got stuck on the index size.
Always nice with more eyes ;)

Ok , it was an identical 165.002 sold here on the omega forum one year ago. The only thing that was not the same, where the dial.
So I just suspected that the dial where of on this one, because nothing was mentioned about wrong hands on the watch in the ad one year ago.
So i guess that watch was not 100% correct either then...

Tnx for your help / Johan

So that's the one they are all trying to emulate! Think it's the first time I've seen one of those... Most 3-6-9-12 Seamaster 30/600s you see with this configuration are redialed, typically from India.

And I'm not following right now. So the watch in the Omega sell ad has correct dial and wrong hands. And the picture of the watch I was planning to buy has wrong hands and wrong dial and it's a big red flag on this one ?

Haha nice , i hope that the Omega experts can sort this one out.
That's why this forum is so great with all help you get.
And probably you learn some good stuff in the end.

Also, the one you posted has "stubbies" before each index which most likely shouldn't be there. At least that's a tell tale sign of a redial on seamaster 300s
