    Hi All

I have just joined this Forum although I have ben an avid vintage Omega collector for many moons. Anyway - a few days I bought what initially looked like a great Ranchero on EBay (Germany) under Item number:

    221288409790

Only then I did some research and the watch appears wrong on quite few levels - luckily the Seller has a 30 day return policy.

What do you guy think - I would value your opinions - thanks.

Thanks - if you search on EBay under Auction number you will see the listing.

Hi Kippy. Welcome to the forum.

I regret to say that that "Ranchero" is so wrong that I have trouble finding anything good with it at all. Even the movement is Franken. They added the 267 bridge to a 265 plate. It's not 15 jewels in a 267 movement....

It's Omega parts alright, (I doubt the hands is Omega though) but completely Franken, redial and polished case on top of it.

    Absolutely!

The case reference isn't uncommon having been used for Seamasters as well as the Ranchero.

Counterfeit hands added to a refinished dial and suddenly there is one more Ranchero.
