I bought this Railtrack Constellation in the summer intending to restore it, but I haven't got around to it, and realistically I've got other watches that I'll focus on first, so I've decided to offer it for sale.

I was unsure whether the dial was original and started a thread to discuss.

In all honesty, I'm still unsure whether it's original. The font has the serifs one would expect and the vertical graining is present in the dial body, but the minute markers appear 'off'. Please make up your own mind.

Dial - Constellation dial with rarer 'Railtrack' pattern. Gold coloured markers and applied logo. Age related discolouration but no spotting etc.

Movement - automatic cal 561. Not running and will certainly need a service/repair.

Case - ref 14393 case in average condition. Incorrect crown and medallion is missing from case back. Cracked crystal.

This is a watch that needs some tlc. With a service, clean and new crystal it will make an attractive Connie.

Price - £535 GBP net to me.
I'll pick up worldwide shipping, buyer to pick up any fees associated with payment.
    Watch is located in U.K.

As always, I have no desire to be anything other than completely open and honest with my sales so feel free to comment if I've missed anything out.

Can you elaborate on "not running well"? Does it run on its own? Not concerned about the accuracy.

Just tried winding slightly now and it isn't running at all. Im reluctant to wind it too much in case it damages anything but assume it doesn't run and will need full service/repair.

Can you give it a twisty / Frisbee type flick? Does the second hand advance?

Second hand doesn't want to budge now.

It certainly was the last time I got it out of my watch box. In the thread I linked to above, some other pics show the second hand in different positions so it was running then, albeit poorly. Now it isn't running at all.
