Omega Railmaster 39 mm question about clasp and strap

Hi
I have the Omega Railmaster 39 mm 2803.52.37 - but with the metal bracelet. But would like to buy the foldover clasp and the brown alligator strap. How do I find out the exact part number for the clasp and the strap? And do you think a dealer can still get them from new?

Thanks in advance for any help

I have my original in the box. I use an aftermarket strap on my RM, currently. 21mm lugs and 18mm at the clasp. The part number on my strap is 98000079. 94521813 should be the clasp. Please confirm these numbers and measurements for your use. Just sharing what came on my RM. Hope it helps.

For the 258035237, the brown gator strap is listed as 98000244.

The deployant buckle is 94521813.

Cheers, Al

Odd, because this is a watch with 20mm lugs, yet the strap you have is for 21. I think the dealer must have included the wrong strap with yours.

My bad, the chronograph of this era is 21mm at the lugs. Thx for the clarification.

Are you sure it's not the strap - 98000080 ?

Out of mild curiosity, I'm interested to know the difference between the two. They look to have the same dimensions, color, stitching, and pattern, if what I looked up on both of them was accurate.

From the Omega Extranet...

Information: The article 98000080 is not available, it was replaced by 98000244 ALLIG PAD BROWN DPL 20X18

You don't have to believe me if you don't want to...call Omega yourself if that would make you feel better.

Problem solved. I guess the good news is either set works and you may be able to find them on eBay, OB, the OF classifieds, or other places.

Thanks for the help - and the next question - how would you go about being it. If I buy from a authorised dealer the price is pretty steep. Is there places that sell them used, where you can be certain you're not getting a copy?
