I'm hoping someone can assist me or point me in the right direction. My Dad has what is, supposedly, an Omega DeVille Quartz watch. I've attached pictures. It was purchased maybe 20 years ago? in Saudi Arabia (for about $1,000ish), and the face is that of a Saudi coin. It's not working, and there are no numbers visible on it. Nor does the Omega symbol appear anywhere on the watch.

As per the ticket (which you may be able to decipher more than I could) a watch maker has quoted AUD$440 to repair it.
The stones may or may not be diamonds, I have no way of knowing. Let's assume for the sake of discussion that they are not of any value in themselves.

Has anyone seen a watch like this before? Would it be a genuine Omega De Ville? And here's the big question - what's it worth / would it even be worth getting it fixed?

I'm wondering if the note says... servicing circuit block and battery. If that's the case it may be that the guts are stuffed (technical term)
