I see my watch collection as a collection of dials, and I wish I could find prototype C-Case dials

Indeed there were a lot of these, not just from these dial books but also some weird ones somehow ended up being dumped on ebay through watchco for a few hundred bucks each, I picked a pair of Alaska style radial dials designed to fit a Speedmaster MK4 or something off them as they were the cheapest at only $70 AUD each. Maybe one day I’ll make a $150,000 prototype out of them.

Everything is possible ... Not all we're cheap. I brokered a deal for a Singer Rolex Submariner dial in slightly off-white colour. Without feet. Correct fonts. Slightly over US $ 20.000. Bought by one of the best known Rolex Collectors worldwide , that I knew. . Started it's stunning life shortly after in a complete Submariner.
