    Hi,

This is a used Omega De Ville Chronograph, which I am planning on buying. As of now I believe it is a caliber 861. I only seen this model in stainless steel though and not this combination with yellow 18K gold.

As the seller has nothing but the watch then I am not sure whether this is a fake.

I am very thankful for any advice on the price and caliber.

Looks legitimate (bigger pics would be helpful) I believe the two tone is an un-cataloged variation.

These do have the caliber 861.

On a strap with no papers I wouldn't go more than $1000 US.

Use a credit card to pay if possible for back up.

$1000 is about right. A couple members own variations of that model and paid somewhere around a grand or a little more.

It is legit. Nice two tone combination. The bezel is solid 18K gold. The movement is 861 so service and parts is relatively easy.
The case is 36mm but it wears bigger than its size due to its thin bezel. Price range is around USD 900 - 1100 depend on condition. Include service in your price and you have a very robust daily wearer for next 5 years.
    I love mine.......

The c861 Deville Prestige is an awesome watch. I purchased mine new in 2006, although the watch was produced in 1997. It was my fourth watch. I didn't know much about watches back then, but it was my daily watch for 5 years. I was always impressed with how robust a watch it was. It's really a disguised speedmaster. The one you are looking is beautiful. Again, it's a great watch.
