Omega Pocket Watch - 1939 Information

Inherited a beautiful Omega pocket watch from my great grandfather who received it as a gift from my great grandmother in 1946. The 15 jewel movement serial number seems to date it to 1939 (serial number: 9849600). Movement still runs great. I can't quite make out the details on the inner caseback except for the words ''Omega, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made''. Watch was bought from a jeweller in Pretoria, South Africa.

The specialist jeweller I took the watch to and that opened the caseback noted that the hands may be gold but the dial is likely plated aluminium. Any additional information anyone can provide as to value, rarity and materials would be much appreciated. The watch, chain and box are all original.
