    Hi All,

Would like to pick your knowledge on a recent gift from my father in law.
He presented me this pocket watch (‘you are into watches somewhat, aren’t you’ Well.....) that belonged to his dad –a doctor, many (over 40) years ago.
Since I do know rats about pocket watches –and not particularly like them neither, which might not be a coincidence, I would like some info from you guys.

    Thanks!

What I found out so far
    - serial 6.6 mio puts it in approx 1925
    - dial is nearly same one as the ‘Omega Art nouveau 1928’ in AJTT (p 82), which would be consistent with the serial number
    - that one has a cal 35.5, mine: I have no idea
    - it is a fairly big watch, as you can tell by the pics
    - I did not found anything on the ref no 7428084
    - all in ss, with no particular outside back (some small waffle or grid, nothing elaborate)
    - it has an enamel dial, with a chip between 2 and 3

Pics are not that well: was a bit in a hurry...

    All info will be welcomed!!

    Thanks
    Willem

    Nice watch!

Your caliber is a 35,5 as well l, or maybe a 37,6 - could have also been a 37,5, depending on the size of the movement, but 1925 is too early for a 37,5.

I have checked: more likely a 35,5 as the 37,6 usually has a different finish for the ratchet wheel, etc.

The number should be written under the balance.
