I have an Omega Ploprof Lefty that I want to change back to original.
I took it to my local service centre who have turned the dial around and now the date wheel does not line up , I had read that when converting to a lefty a special date wheel was needed. If this was the case I assumed if we ordered a new date wheel it would sort the problem, but unfortunately it has not . Does anyone have any idea? Can anyone recomend someone in the UK who can sort this.
    Many thanks for your help.

Is your Case stamped inverted inside? Upside down?

Does anyone know where I may get one of the correct date wheels?
    Obviously I’ll try ebay.

I had read the posts about the inverted inner case markings and got the service centre to take a photo of it and the movement, as I am not equipped or skilled enough to take this watch apart.

Was this an Omega service center? if so, they certainly dropped the ball on this one. They need to look up date indicators for this watch that have the date aperture at 90 degrees, but the stem setting position at 270 degrees.

Two are listed under case number 166077:

    72210001589A | DATE INDICATOR FLAT SILVER S9H A3H

    72210001589J | DATE INDICATOR FLAT YELLOW S9H A3H

    Cheers, Al
