Someone in my local “used items website” are selling this newer generation planet ocean 600m for 2480euro
But I just found something weird ..
With this new bezel the font (SEAMATER and 600m/2000ft) should be orange right ?
So I contacted the seller , and he told me quote every model is different quote, I was like W T F !?!?!?
So before I go all F word on him .. guys what you say ?
    Genuine ? Fake ?

Fake, and not even a good fake. When looking for a PO like this, make sure you get a shot of the back and examine the movement. Most fakes don’t have movements that look like omegas. Though not foolproof, it’s a good place to start.

Not correcting you. Just making sure the OP was aware that you really need to know what to look for on the high end fakes as they look real unless you know exactly what to look for.

    Looks fake to me.

Have him send a clear, crisp, high-resolution photo of the cards and watch, like the current picture you see below BUT ACTUALLY LEGIBLE. I can't read anything off of those cards. Can't see the reference number. What reference number is he claiming? The watch photos are among the worst I've ever seen from a seller.

    Fake Seamaster 600.jpg

I do know this for sure: the seller needs to clean his camera lens and/or buy a new camera. Unless, of course, the "crummy camera" excuse helps him with his con artistry.

If you can't get any good photos, you need to walk away unless it's through ebay or some outlet where you know you can get your money back.

    Good luck.

The speedy date looks fake too.

    Poor pictures obscuring the info.

One detailed picture of the back of the watch would settle it.

No. The lume pip on the bezel appears off center as well. It’s definitely a fake

My Planet Ocean has a display case back of the 8900 movement and Seamaster is orange. As I did my research never ran into one without the Seamaster in Orange. A table full of replica's.

Why even bother with this seller. If seems off it probably is. Planet oceans are not difficult to find. Move on and keep looking.
