Me again guys! Someone just messaged me via this forum with a couple for sale, the pie pan looks a little suspect in regards to the “Swiss made” text between the number, I haven’t seen this before, could I be wrong?

Is it missing a tension ring? It looks to be sitting a bit odd in the case to me, but I could well be imagining things.

 

Yes it looks like it, no big deal. but missing... isn't it a special 'stepped' crystal to fit the step on the dial?

 

Hmm, I don't think so. I believe that the crystal is the same for all dial variants in the reference, but I am not certain.

 

I recently had this problem on a french connie gold case but I may be wrong for that one.
