Hi. I'm about to buy a connie but have a question regarding the dial. Is this dial authentic to the SS case? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the quick reply. What tells do you see that makes it a redial? The bracelet wasnt I aware of, will have a closer look.. To me it looked fine?!
Wrong fonts, T swiss T for non tritium dial, cross hairs not travelling completely through the star, etc... There has been much written about Constellations, here is an extremely good place to start an education: http://omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.nl/
Might not even be a redial... Pictures are not that good but the frame around the date seems like it is lacking the bevels - which, for this model, would point to an entirely fake dial. Could well be right there, I was just concentrating on the easiest tells... fake dial makes me wonder about the case...168.005??
Unfortunately your dial looks like the first one here http://download727.mediafire.com/qtcbabx3f7rg/e74cn7ldclyq7bk/Fake Omega Constellation dials.pdf
Case and movement are real. Dial has two T's for tritium, but there is none on the hands or on the dial. The watch is good for parts only. I know who markets these fake dials in the US, and I detest them. gatorcpa
