Welcome @icellama.
I was about to say the same.
Nice dial with onyx inserts (although Hoi would say he prefers a dial with a marker at ‘3’.
It’s an early 168.005 but I think the case looks heavily polished - the medallion aggressively so by the looks of things, and I can’t see any facets on the lugs.
Movt looks clean but would want a pic of the inner case back to look for evidence of rotor rub.
Thanks for the reply! I’ll try to get a close up of the lugs but here is the picture of the case back. Also how can you tell it’s an early 168.005?
Serial number dates watch to 1962 which is first year of the reference

I've always been of the (personal) opinion that the Omega official release dates are something like a year earlier than the actual 'release-into-the-wild' dates.
I don't recall ever seeing a retail receipt for a 1962 168.005/167.005 dogleg or 168.004 hidden crown reference.
(and I'm sure that if they exist, someone on OF will have one).
Unfortunately, the OP's dial falls into the categories of a nice redial
1. AUTOMATIC is too large compare to the other lines.
2. Minute markers are too far away from pie pan edges.
The first pic is the OP' dial
The second is from my thead Some nice redials.
And the last belongs to SOG53 which is all good 👍.

Yes… the lugs do look blunt instead of angular. Shame because the seller is willing to go sell at a lower price.
If the lugs are as polished as they look and with a redial (@hoipolloi 👍) this is a $500 watch - exactly how low is the seller willing to go to offload this sub-par example?
Of course the watch is worth more to anyone who just wants a vintage Omega watch and doesn’t know any better - and that is what the seller is depending on - so it depends on what you want.
